In Archery INA Wins Silver and Bronze
Indonesian archers have failed to present gold medals for the national contingent on the Islamic Solidarity Games (ISG) III in Palembang. Both, the men and women team, only managed to win one silver and one bronze medal in the compound match on Sunday, September 29.


Daniel Lumalesil, coach of the Indonesian archery team, stated that the team will avenge their losses in the last match.

For the compound men event, gold medal was awarded for Iranian archers Amir Kazempur, Esmail Ebadi, and Hamzeh Nekeouei with a score of 236. The Indonesia compound men team, which consists of I Gusti Nyoman Puruhito, Catur Wuri and Adi Nugroho, only won the silver medal with 221 points. Meanwhile, the bronze medal goes to archers from Qatar and Malaysia that scores a tie.

For the compound women event, the Indonesian team members Dellie Three Syadinda, Rona Siska Sari, and Sri Ranti, was defeated by the Iranian female team during the semifinal by 216 to 227, and resulted in a bronze medal.
